Diehl recently introduced a new generation of Challoner Double End Tenoners.
Challoner Tenoners are now manufactured by Diehl Machines, in Wabash IN. The
model shown was equipped for the production on window components and was equipped
with:
- Full automatic cutterhead positioning and pattern recall
- Servo drive system on feed chains
- Full length scrap conveyor
- Allen Bradley controls
- Outfeed Stoker unit
- "Quick change" backer dogs
- High speed traverse @ 6" per second travel
- Steel enclosure with more access to tooling units
- Automatic speed up and slow down of feed chains
- Internal central dust plenum
